About Reporting Support

Reporting Support advises and provides support on financial reporting challenges of companies. I aim to help companies solving IFRS accounting challenges in a practical and flexible manner. I am Cees de Boer, a seasoned financial reporting specialised helping companies already for many years on a flexible basis and often in voluntary long-term relationships. My service model is helping companies only on questions they need support at an ad-hoc basis. In this way, companies with limited in-house IFRS expertise are able to report smoothly on IFRS and are able to call additional support for complicated questions. Larger companies are able to strengthen their team if needed on a flexible and voluntary basis. Due to my experience, I am quickly up to speed on questions. I have a clear insight in the peak and quiet times of customers which optimises my planning enabling to service my customers as good as possible.

I am focusing my services on non-financial corporates, usually in The Netherlands or Belgium. I provide often support on the preparation of IFRS financial statements (including verifying the disclosure requirements for the auditors) or interim financial statements, reporting on the acquisitions of companies including subsequent accounting for differences from the purchase price allocation, hedge accounting for interest, foreign exchange differences or commodities, implement and follow-up of new accounting standards like revenues, leases and financial instruments, impairment test, sparing partner for CFO, finance directors or the finance team on IFRS accounting topics and drafting position papers on other IFRS topics.

I have experience in many industries, such as datacentres, construction, energy, equity trading, leasing, media, industrial production, internet content and advertisement, publishing, shipping, technology and utilities.
