About Riding the Heatwave

Riding the Heatwave aims to raise awareness about climate change and biodiversity loss while Luís Salvador is travelling by bike from Portugal to the Netherlands.

In order to create a collection of stories that will be disseminated through several platforms, including here, he is going to collaborate with organisations and individuals to document their initiatives and projects using the power of visual storytelling to shed light on those challenges while highlighting the solutions that offer hope for a better future.

The end goal is to inspire individuals, communities, and policymakers to prioritize climate action and conservation efforts.
